County Offices, Transfer Station and all Collection Sites Closed on February 11, 2025 due to Inclement Weather

Notice of Office Closing

Nelson County departments, offices, including the County’s Solid Waste Transfer Station and all Collection Sites will be closed on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 due to inclement weather and will plan to reopen on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. In the event of any further delays, an update will be posted to the News & Announcements on the County webpage.

General District Court and Juvenile & Domestic Court will also be closed on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

All Public Safety Operations will continue to maintain regular hours of operation. Stay safe.
