VDOT Traffic Alert – Road Work on Route 630

LYNCHBURG – Motorists should expect delays due to a bridge deck replacement on Route 630 in Nelson County.  Route 630 (Green Creek Road) will be temporarily closed to thru traffic from Route 617 ( Rockfish River Road ), to the intersection of Route 6 (Irish Road).  This section of Route 630 will be closed from 03/4/2024 – 03/14/2024.

The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour of this portion of Route 630 (Green Creek Rd) and will use Route 617 (Rockfish River Road) to Route 800 (Schuyler Rd) to Route 6 (Irish Road) back to Route 630.
